Saturday June the 16th is my birthday. It’s also Bloomsday, an annual celebration of James Joyce. What better way to celebrate both events than a trip to Dublin?

You lucky dog. We have a wonderful place to celebrate Bloomsday here in Philadelphia: The Rosenbach Museum, which houses an original manuscript copy. It might be the best Bloomsday celebration in America. But I’m sure it doesn’t compare with looking at the Martello Tower…
